How do I deposit via Giropay?

What is Giropay?

Giropay is an instant deposit option that allows both Verified and Unverified members from Germany to instantly deposit funds from their personal banking account into their NETELLER Account.
If you have a German bank account, but do not live in Germany, you will not be able to use this deposit option.

How do I deposit by Giropay?

  1. Select Giropay from the Money in section of your NETELLER account. Select Deposit now under Giropay.
  2. Enter the amount you wish to deposit along with your bank account details and click Continue.
  3. You will now confirm the details of your deposit. As long as you have entered your information correctly, click on Make Giropay Deposit. To change any of your details, select Change Details.
  4. By selecting Make Giropay Deposit this will take you to your online banking site to complete the transaction.
  5. Once you have completed the deposit from your banking site, your NETELLER Account will provide the transaction information for your reference. We recommend printing this page or saving it, as NETELLER does not send an email confirmation of the deposit.

How long does a Giropay deposit take?

This is a quick deposit. Funds deposited will arrive into your NETELLER Account immediately.

What are the limits and the fees?

The best place to check the limits for any deposit option is the Money in section of your account. Select the deposit option of your choice. On the next step click on the question mark (?), and the limits will appear in a pop-up. Make sure you have disabled the pop-up blocker of your browser.

Once an unverified member has reached their deposit limit, they will need to verify their account in order to continue using the service.

All limits are based on rolling periods.

For the deposit fee, please check the Money in section of your account or visit https://www.neteller.com/en/fees.
If you have attempted to make a deposit and it is still listed as Pending, you will need to wait for that deposit to be accepted or declined before attempting another Giropay deposit. You may try any other deposit option while you are waiting.
