How do I deposit via Bitcoin?

What is Bitcoin?
 

Bitcoin is a digital currency that allows both Verified and Unverified members to quickly and easily add funds to their NETELLER Account from their Bitcoin app on a mobile phone, tablet or desktop computer.

There are a few ways to get Bitcoins, either by Currency Exchange (provided by Bitcoin providers), or trading goods and/or services in return for Bitcoins.
 
Note: Funds deposited via Bitcoin are available only for transfers to merchant sites, and to other NETELLER members.
 
 
How do I deposit by Bitcoin?
 
  1. In order for you to transfer Bitcoin to your NETELLER Account, you will first need a Bitcoin account. To get started with Bitcoin, visit the Bitcoin website.
  2. In your NETELLER Account, under Money In, click on the Bitcoin deposit option. 
  3. Enter in the amount you wish to deposit and click on Continue.
  4. By clicking on Continue a third-party processor allowing you to complete the transaction with Bitcoin is launched. Be sure to allow pop ups on your browser.
  5. You will now need to provide an email address at which you will be contacted if there is an issue with your payment.
  6. A new window will load with a QR Code. QR code (abbreviated from Quick Response Code) is the trademark for a type of matrix barcode (or two-dimensional barcode).
  7. You can either click on the blue Open in wallet button to launch the application of your Bitcoin wallet or you can scan the QR Code with a Mobile phone or Tablet QR code app.
  8. Once you have paid using Bitcoin, you will receive a confirmation message. You will be able to view and confirm the transaction in the History section.
 
You will also receive an email informing you that the transaction has been completed.
 
 
How long does a Bitcoin deposit take?
 
This is a quick deposit option. Funds will arrive into your NETELLER Account immediately.  
 
Changing the requested amount in your Bitcoin Wallet will require manual processing and could delay your transaction up to 3 business days.
 
 
What are the limits and the fees?
 
The best place to check the limits for any deposit option is the Money in section of your account. Select the deposit option of your choice. On the next step click on the question mark (?), and the limits will appear in a pop-up. Make sure you have disabled the pop-up blocker of your browser.
 
Once an unverified member has reached their deposit limit, they will need to verify their account in order to continue using the service.
 
All limits are based on rolling periods.

Please be informed that if your NETELLER Account is in AUD, USD, EUR or GBP, there is no FX fee for a Bitcoin deposit transaction.However, if your NETELLER Account is in a currency other than AUD, USD, EUR or GBP, the transaction will be processed in USD and a 3.99% Foreign Exchange fee will be applied.

  • The price of a bitcoin can unpredictably increase or decrease over a short period of time. 
 
Funds have left my Bitcoin account but are showing up as declined in my NETELLER Account, what can I do?
 
If after 3 business days you have not yet received the funds, please contact the Customer Support Center.
