What is Strong Customer Authentication?

Strong Customer Authentication is a newly introduced European regulatory requirement which aims at making online payments more secure.

What is changing?

As a result of these recent changes in the industry in some occasions (when logging in or completing a transaction) we may ask you for additional authentication either via a 6-digit SMS code sent to your mobile phone or to your registered email address.

How to add a phone number or change the already registered one?

To add a phone number or change an already registered one go to ‘Settings’ > ‘Account’ > ‘Personal information’ and click ‘Edit’ next to your phone number. If you are unable to receive the SMS code for the authentication you also have the option to perform it by receiving the code on your email address.

How to change the registered email address?

You may change or update your email address at your convenience by going to the ‘Settings’ > ‘Account’ > ‘Email preferences’ tab and click on ‘Edit’ next to your current email address.

*When signing in, you may check the ‘Don't ask me again on this device’ box to make your logins fast an easy. You can manage your trusted devices in the 'Settings' > 'Security' > 'Trusted devices' section of your account.

*When instructing a payment, during its confirmation, you may flag the recipient as ‘trusted’ to make the next payments to them faster.
